As an employee I feel obliged to set a few things straight.

There is no better way to put it than someone said above which is sales is “an art”. The extent to which the associates go to provide the absolute best customer service is amazing. There is NO comission that comes with the job, and it really is a labor of love. Get to know the company and the history and the stance that Lush takes in the cosmetic world and I promise you will change your mind about it.
Associates that have “pestered” or “stalked” you in the past were not doing their jobs accordinlgy because that is not what they are trained to do. Try to think of them as educators; they are really there with YOUR best interest in mind. If this were not true there would be NO sales and the company would not last. If you enter Lush you have entered territory that has PERMISSION TO SELL. Kindly let someone know you would prefer to shop alone and I promise you will be granted.
Although I can promise your experience and understanding of Lush will be enhanced with a trained and passionate associate.

Try to be more open minded people.
and if you don’t like frangrance, fun, and a few bubbles here and there don’t bother. Leave the negativity else where.

You will be glad to know that this product has been wiped off the shelves at all good retailers. Yes it smelt nice and no it didn’t work, but hey, we like to kid ourselves for a short while that the answer has finally arrived. Then the truth hits us like an old cod around the face. I too am terrified of the pink although have wonderful hippie lipstick (bought in a Whole Foods in South California no less) which is a v orangey-red, made by, erm, can’t remember (damn Aspalls cider). It is v lovely but has engendered many a (nice) remark. Also a super nigh on goth Chanel from my darling sister in law (who claimed it was too dark for her so gave me a freebie; I suspect a lovely lady and just realised I looked like shee-ite and gave it to me). It’s a v dark red but as it’s a lovely Chanel is v wearable, even in the dull academic research environment I work in.
Essay over. Fcking cider.

Well, now you’ve got me to de-lurk.

Having entered a serious nail varnish phase a couple of years ago, my nails started flaking. (Previously they’d been untended but for trims and filing.) I went the Nail Envy route, which was slightly helpful but not enough. Then I read around and started on Avoplex, which was a slow, gradual improvement, but veeeeeeery slow and gradual.

So, late last year I decided to give ‘Go Nails’ Nail growth treatment a go. (Money off code from Beauty Bay helped.) The nail varnish was put aside for six weeks, the goop was applied every night and most mornings. And dammit, it worked. Like Avoplex on steroids. The flaking hasn’t stopped completely, but my nails are growing a lot longer before I need to trim them down, and it’s almost to the point where I need to cut them back for comprehensible typing anyway. Still using the Go Nails intermittently, with Nail Envy as extra armour.
